At R.E ARCH & Works Constructions, advocacy for women in industry goes beyond words — it’s an actionable, measurable commitment. Through mentorship programs, equitable hiring practices, and inclusive leadership development, the company is redefining what it means to create a truly inclusive workplace.

“We understand that diversity in leadership and technical teams leads to stronger innovation, better decision-making, and long-term business success,” said Elena Mendez, Director of People Strategy at R.E ARCH & Works Constructions. “Supporting women is not just the right thing to do — it’s a business imperative.”

In 2024, R.E ARCH & Works Constructions launched the *Women in Industry Alliance*, a company-wide initiative focused on attracting, retaining, and advancing women across all departments — especially in historically male-dominated roles such as engineering, construction, logistics, and IT. The program features leadership coaching, cross-functional mentorship, returnship support for career re-entry, and networking events designed to build confidence and community.

The impact is already being felt. Over 40% of mid- and senior-level management roles hired in Q1 2025 were filled by women, a notable increase from the previous year. Internally, employee resource groups have flourished, creating forums for dialogue, skill-building, and allyship.

R.E ARCH & Works Constructions also partners with organizations such as NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction), SWE (Society of Women Engineers), and local STEM-focused nonprofits to invest in the next generation of female leaders.
