At R.E ARCH & Works Constructions, fostering the success of diverse suppliers isn’t just a procurement strategy — it’s a reflection of our commitment to equity, innovation, and inclusive economic development. By actively engaging small, minority-, women-, veteran-, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses, we aim to build strong, resilient supply chains that reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
“When we invest in diverse suppliers, we’re expanding economic access and strengthening the long-term sustainability of our business ecosystem,” said Marcus Hall, Vice President of Procurement at R.E ARCH & Works Constructions. “These partnerships drive innovation, increase competition, and spark local growth.”
In 2024, R.E ARCH & Works Constructions spent over $120 million with certified diverse suppliers and launched the *Supplier Success Accelerator*, a year-long mentorship and capacity-building initiative that pairs suppliers with internal mentors across operations, legal, and finance.
The company also hosts quarterly Supplier Diversity Roundtables where existing and prospective vendors gain access to strategic planning tools, market intelligence, and training on compliance, sustainability, and digital readiness.
One standout success story is Brightline Electrical, a minority-owned subcontractor who partnered with R.E ARCH & Works Constructions on several infrastructure projects. “We went from 5 employees to 22 in just 18 months,” said CEO Veronica Diaz. “R.E ARCH & Works Constructions didn’t just give us a contract — they gave us a platform to grow and compete.”
Looking ahead, R.E ARCH & Works Constructions plans to increase its supplier diversity spend by 30% by 2026 and expand outreach through regional supplier matchmaking events and accelerator grants for high-performing vendors.
“This is about long-term value creation,” added Hall. “When diverse suppliers thrive, we all win.”
